Color Trends and Inspiration

Third Place Colors? Well?not exactly. However, as it relates to the color wheel, tertiary colors ? those hues that result from mixing a primary and secondary color ? are technically in third place.

Staging Industry

Light Up a Room Lighting has long been one of my favorite parts of any design project, but it can also be one of the most difficult and time consuming part of the process. First off, lighting really comes in bulk. In some of my larger projects, I have upwards of 100 fixtures! Wattage, placement, dimensions, shades?.so much to think about when choosing just the right lighting schemes.

Style Tips and Tricks

Recycled Pallet Vertical Garden Summer is waning, and since I am a diehard autumnal girl, I?d usually be very excited by now. But I have to be honest ? this lush and vibrant pallet vertical garden is making me want to stay in summer for another month or two. There have been many pallet projects and many vertical garden projects, but none combine the two elements as well as this tutorial from Steph of the local spoon, and none are so simply designed. I like this so much, I might have to squeeze it in before I focus entirely on fall projects.

We are also going to start adding cool merchandise into our online shop, one of them is these vertical garden boxes:

So on the look out for them while we ?re-stage? our online store!

Property of the Week

Shalina?s Modern Vancouver Home Tour The owner of this ROCKIN? home is Shalina Lawrence, she?s also a customer of mine who bought 9 Love Prints & displayed them in such an interesting manner ? I had to ask her if I could see the rest of her home! I?m so glad I did!

Local Faves and Raves

First Walking Sunday Streets a Hit in Chinatown and North Beach San Francisco?s Grant Avenue, the city?s oldest street, was opened to pedestrians only yesterday in a milestone Sunday Streets event that drew thousands of people to the historic neighborhoods of Chinatown and North Beach on a sunny, 74-degree day. The city?s first walking Sunday Streets on a thoroughfare that seems like one of the most ideal streets to pedestrianize was clearly a hit.
